The Quran is Allah's most precious gift to humanity. There are 114 Surahs in the Holy Qur'an. Every Surah is a revelation that transforms our lives and demonstrates the proper path of life. Surah Mulk is a “Makki Surah” which indicates that it was revealed in Makkah before the migration of the Prophet (S.A.W). Al Mulk signifies "the Kingdom or Dominion of Allah (SWT)”. It's the 67th chapter of the Holy Quran. It is comprised of 30 verses and 330 words.

Each Surah in the Holy Quran is beneficial however some parts hold more blessings than others in the Qur'an. This is the Surah that our beloved Prophet loved to read before falling asleep.

Benefits and Rewards of Surah Mulk

It has been mentioned by Ibn Shihab that Surah Mulk is termed as "the disputer” since it will contend with those who are in the grave. Munkar and Nakir are the two angels of the grave who will question the dead after everyone was gone. Only this Surah will come to our aid when the angels interrogate us when there is no one else. This is really a wonderful and blessed Surah!

Our beloved Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (S.A.W) often used to recite this Surah. He also guided his people to read it even if it’s difficult to read the full Surah try to read some Ayahs of it. This Surah includes 1300 letters and 10 times of this equals 13,000 rewards. There are a lot of benefits for only a few minutes of recitation.

Protection in The Grave

Reciting Surah Mulk holds many more rewards than you would think. It will guard you not just in your life but in the afterlife, but also in the interim. Steps to Get the Blessings of Surah Mulk

As we are aware of the incredible advantages of Surah Mulk, we cannot sit back. It’s best to gain its unlimited blessings by doing some great steps. Here are some measures you can take:

Recite Surah Mulk Every Day

Make it a habit to perform wudhu, grab your Quran, and read Surah Mulk after Fajr or right before sleep. If you're doing this nearly every day, you will be seeking Allah's benevolence. And you will have a high possibility of escaping his wrath. Reciting this Surah protects you from evil. Make a routine of reading this Surah at least once a day.

Memorize It

It would be a plus point if you memorize this surah in your heart. This way you will be able to recite it even when you don’t have Quran. moreover, it’s a short Surah of thirty verses and it’s not difficult to memorize it.

Understand Its True Meaning

At the end of each day, if you're merely reciting Surah Mulk blandly without grasping the message, it won't help you significantly. Spend your time and make the attempt to understand the message of every verse. Allah did not bring the Quran below for us to recite in a beautiful voice occasionally.
